How do I remove my business from the COVID-19 Wage Subsidy Scheme?
My business was not as badly affected by COVID-19 as I thought and I need to remove myself from the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme, how do I do this?
If your business was not as badly affected as you thought it would be when registering for the scheme back in March and you do not meet the eligibility criteria you should remove yourself from the COVID-19 Wage Subsidy Scheme ASAP.
In order to remove yourself from the scheme you should cease using the J9 PRSI Class on any future payroll submissions.
Revenue have also indicated that employers should inform them of their intention to exit the scheme via the MyEnquiries messaging system on ROS.
