On 26 October 2017 Revenue confirmed that given the difficulties that affected many households and businesses as a result of the recent storms and, conscious that these may have impacted on preparations to meet the upcoming deadline, the online filing deadline of 14 November 2017 has been extended to 16 November 2017.
This extension only applies to those people who file their tax return and also pay any associated liabilities using the Revenue Online Services (ROS)
For those who choose to file a paper return, the deadline is 31 October 2017 and this will remain unchanged.
