What is the deadline for filing my tax return?

I am a self-employed and I know I need to file my annual income tax return. What is the deadline?

The deadline for filing your 2018 Tax Return is 31 October 2019.

However, if you choose to pay and file online using Revenue Online Services (ROS) there is an extended deadline of 12 November 2019.

You will need to pay the balance of tax due for 2018 at this point and any preliminary tax for 2019.

You should pay and file on time to avoid potential surcharges, interest and penalties, and reduce your risk of a tax audit.

You should consult your accountant if you are having difficulty with your Income Tax Return!
