Expert Landlord Services
Being a landlord comes with a range of tax responsibilities. We’re here to make them easier, with accountancy services tailored to you and your property. At TaxAssist Accountants we can provide support to landlords of all types of properties, including residential, commercial and holiday lets (such as Airbnb properties). Alongside our accountancy services, we’ll help you explore tax saving and tax planning opportunities suited to your circumstances.
Why choose our landlord services?
From registering you with Revenue to filing your tax return, we can help with it all:
- Register with Revenue: We will register you for self-assessment tax returns (and corporation tax if relevant) with Revenue and act as your tax agent.
- Preparing accounts: We will prepare accounts showing your turnover, expenses and profits for the year. We can help ensure you are claiming all the expenses and reliefs you are entitled to.
- Preparing your tax return: We can file your Form 11 Tax Return with Revenue each year giving you piece of mind that everything is filed correctly and you are not paying more than you need to.
- Selling your property: If you are selling a property and have Capital Gains Tax (CGT) to pay we can calculate your CGT liability and complete your tax return for you.
- Rent-a-Room Relief: If you let out a room in your main home, and live alongside your tenant, you may be able to claim Rent-a-Room Relief. There are conditions that need to be met to avail of the relief, which your local TaxAssist Accountant can discuss with you.
