How do I register for the COVID-19 wage subsidy scheme as an employer?
I want to register for the COVID-19 wage subsidy scheme, how do I this?
Employers should register ASAP for the scheme in the following way -
- Log on to ROS myEnquiries and select the category COVID-19: Temporary Wage Subsidy.
- Read the COVID-19: Temporary Wage Subsidy Self-Declaration and press the Submit button.
- Ensure bank account details on Revenue record are correct. These can be checked in ROS and in Manage bank accounts, Manage EFT, enter the refund bank account that the refund is to be made to.
If an employer had previously registered for the COVID-19 refund scheme then there is no need to register for a second time. We would advise all employers to complete this step regardless of whether they will claim the refund or not.
Once you have registered, follow your payroll providers instructions. All Irish payroll providers have been in contact with Revenue and will have run updates.
